Our Story

Small things,
made with care.

Inside our studio — handcrafted pieces arranged on a workbench

Where it began

Ember & Loom grew out of a simple frustration: so much of what filled homes felt disposable, anonymous, and made without thought. We believed — and still believe — that the objects you live with should mean something.

We started slowly, with a small selection of handmade ceramics from a single maker in New Brunswick. Now we work with a quiet network of artisans across Canada and beyond — each chosen for the care they bring to their craft.

How we work

Every object in our collection is made by hand. We visit studios, sit with makers, and understand how things are made before we agree to carry them. We don't rush. We don't take shortcuts.

Our range stays intentionally small. We'd rather carry fewer things and know them deeply than overwhelm you with options. Curation is a form of care.
